Wascana Centre is the definite focal point for the city of Regina. It has an area of 930 hectares (2,300 acres) of land and water. It is much larger than the actual downtown core. Many of the city's top attractions are located in this beautifully landscaped park. The park has many excellent recreational facilities, and is an excellent viewpoint to observe many birds and marsh mammals.

This pathway features eight kilometres of trail along the path of Wascana Creek. It is used by joggers, walkers and cyclists, and in winter, cross-country skiers.
