Wascana Centre

Wascana Centre is the definite focal point for the city of Regina. It has an area of 930 hectares (2,300 acres) of land and water. It is much larger than the actual downtown core. Many of the city's top attractions are located in this beautifully landscaped park. The park has many excellent recreational facilities, and is an excellent viewpoint to observe many birds and marsh mammals.

Douglas Park

Douglas Park includes the Canada Games Athletic Complex, complete with a regulation-sized track, jump pits, hammer and discus areas, javelin and pole vault facilities, spectator seating for 2,100 people, and a sound system. The park also encompasses a baseball diamond, tennis courts, a cricket pitch, two athletic fields, and washrooms. Park facilities are closed during winter.
