Dr. Julian Barling is a professor of organizational behavior and pyschology in the Queen's School of Business, Queen's University. He will be coming to Saskatchewan to share his current research findings, which focus on the nature and development of transformational leadership, and how leadership can enhance employees' psychological and physical well-being.

The Regina Highland Games celebrate Scottish culture with pipe bands, a Highland dancing competition, a Heavy Events competition which includes tests of strength and vendors selling their food and wears. The event is capped off with a ceilidh.

Every year since 1992 the Cathedral Village community celebrates the arts and promotes community spirit with the six-day Cathedral Village Arts Festival. The festival starts off each year on Victoria Day in May with a kick-off picnic, and ends on Saturday when over 250 artists and craftspeople ply their wares at the outoor streetfair during the day and there are music, theatre etc events in the evening.

In the 1700s, military drummers would roam the streets of town at sunset beating a rhythm to let tavern owners know it was time to close and send the military personnel back to their posts, at which point a flag lowering ceremony would take place. Today, the RCMP Academy Depot Division re-enacts this display for crowds at sunset on Tuesday evenings over the summer.
